Wizards of Waverly Place star and singer Selena Gomez has stripped off for a snap for her supposed beau Weekend.
In the Instagram picture the 24-year-old star can be seen wearing nothing but a nearly invisible golden thong, leaving very little to the imagination.
The pic was taken by fashion photographer Mort Alas and uploaded to his Instagram account along with the caption ‘Beauty and the beast’, although he’s since taken the photo down.
Presumably because Gomez had previously made comments about people posting revealing photos at The American Music Awards where she announced: ‘I don’t want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what’s in here [touches chest]’
According to The Daily Mail the singer, songwriter Weekend – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – was also tagged in the photo along with heart emoji which everyone knows is basically a proposal in this day and age.
Both Gomez and Weekend had been caught kissing outside a restaurant in Santa Monica despite Selena reportedly being keen to keep their romance to themselves.
One source explained:
Selena was focusing on getting herself back together and Abel was just getting out of a relationship, plus putting out his new album.Abel and Bella also were on and off towards the end of their relationship, so getting into something brand new was not what Abel was looking for.
Despite this E!News have reported that Weekend has fancied Selena for some time because she’s so ‘talented and sexy’.
One person who’s taken the news of the couple’s romance badly is Weekend's ex the model Bella Ha-did who followed Selena on Instagram hours after the photos surfaced.
